John Snapat has been the “General Manager” of Fulford Home Remodeling since its inception in 1987. Beyond managing the company, John has made a large impact in the remodeling community by achieving several recognitions which includes the following:
Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (est. 2004)
The Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) designation program teaches the technical, business management, and customer service skills essential to competing in the fastest growing segment of the residential remodeling industry: home modifications for the aging-in-place. The NAHB Remodelers Council, in collaboration with the AARP, NAHB Research Center, and NAHB Seniors Housing Council, developed this program to provide comprehensive, practical, market-specific information about working with older and maturing adults to remodel their homes for aging-in-place.
Trent Ketchum is a “Project Consultant” for Fulford Home Remodeling and has been with the company since 2002. Trent has made a large impact in the remodeling community by achieving several memberships & recognitions which includes the following:
The Home Builders & Remodelers Metro East Association (HBR) is a professional organization of more than 250 builders, developers, remodeling contractors, specialty trade contractors, and associate members. The builders, remodelers, and developers in the HBR agree to abide by our Code of Ethics, to use accepted professional and business practices, and to meet or exceed local, state and federal standards and regulations.
Certified Green Professional (est. 2009)
The Certified Green Professional™ designation recognizes builders, remodelers and other industry professionals who incorporate green building principles into homes. Classwork leading to the designation provides a solid background in green building methods, as well as the tools to reach consumers, from the organization leading the charge to provide market-driven green building solutions to the home building industry.
remodeling big 50 (2011)
Each year since 1986, the Remodeling Big50 inducts 50 owners of remodeling companies that have set exceptionally high standards for professionalism and integrity through exemplary business practices, craftsmanship, and impact in their community or the industry at large. Big50 remodelers run successful, often growing, companies of various sizes that have taken the lead in raising industry standards. This award is unique in that you can only win the award once; kind of like getting inducted into the Remodeling “Hall of Fame”.
